As investigators delve deeper, they uncover a past riddled with mental illness and a tumultuous relationship between mother and son. Timothy’s defense claims his actions were influenced by medication for his dwarfism, which was linked to contamination. Despite the initial murder charge, the case takes a turn as evidence of premeditation remains elusive.

In the courtroom, the charge is reduced to involuntary manslaughter. Timothy receives a sentence of three years’ probation after already serving over two years in jail. This verdict closes a dark chapter, leaving behind a legacy of Hollywood glamour overshadowed by personal tragedy.
