On September 29, 1975, the picturesque town of San Felice Circeo conceals a nightmarish scene. Two young women, Donatella Colasanti and Rosaria Lopez, step into what they believe is the beginning of a night filled with music and laughter. But within the walls of Villa Moresca, their captors reveal a sinister plan. Angelo Izzo and Giovanni Guido, aided by Andrea Ghira, transform the villa into a chamber of horror, holding the women captive.

For 35 harrowing hours, Colasanti and Lopez endure unspeakable acts of violence. As the torment escalates, Lopez is tragically drowned, while Colasanti bravely feigns death to survive. Locked in the trunk of a car, her desperate cries finally reach a night watchman, leading to her dramatic rescue. The chilling discovery of Lopez’s lifeless body beside her shocks the nation.

The aftermath is a testament to resilience. Izzo and Guido are swiftly apprehended, while Ghira evades capture. A trial unfolds, resulting in life sentences for the perpetrators. Yet, the scars of that September night linger, leaving an indelible mark on Italy’s conscience.
